today was the big day! hehe. oh well, woke up at 10 plus. hmm. quite early for me cos i always wake up at about 12pm-1pm. lol. wore my new jeans with green t-shirt. after that.... we tried to hail a taxi. stupid uh. most of them were already hired. but then we managed to get one. unfortunately, the taxi driver was a talkative one at that. so, the whole journey to the restaurant ar. cant bear one. so noisy that old driver. my mum was very irritated.... i heck care anyway. the resaturant is really a nice one with good ambience. the stairs hor, at the side, got candles. hahahaa. my cousin was dressed in a light pink dress. very nice with matching pink shoes. hahas. then jerry (her husband) was shuai. our table was the first one. my cousin is really close to us so she let us sit near her. hehe. then jackie kor kor, which is my cousin too say i very tall ler. haa. almost his height eh. lols. i wont bore you by telling too much details. times have changed, now the certificate of marriage is not rolled up. its foldable. lol. the tea ceremony, lunch and time to exchange to the rings(dont know what) are now all in together meaning they take place on the same day bahs.
really...... i know that this is supposed to be a happy ocassion but there was bugging all of us. (mother's side family) and that thing that was bugging us was that there was one person absent. true enough, it was my first uncle absent lor. he was supposed to be part of the most important people today; the father of my cousin. he had left us on 19 march this year. before he could taste jerry's tea. when it was my first aunt's turn to get offered tea, my tears threatened to fall. why? cos my uncle was supposed to be beside her. but he was no longer around. i couldnt help it, my tears fell. i looked at my mum and fourth auntie sitting with me. they were also trying hard to hold their tears. i knew my first aunt was trying to hide her loneliness. she had tried to quickly finish her tea so she couldnt feel the emptiness beside her. haiz. really ke lian. i cannot bear it. thruout the whole lunch, i had no appetite. i only wanted thought of my uncle.
when the lunch was over, most of us went to my first aunt's house. pat jie jie(the one who got married) couldnt come along as she had to go to jerry's house. when we were at my firsnt aunt's house hor. pat jie jie called back. she told my first aunt that jerry was drunk. lol. and couldnt wake up.... then she said she wanted to come back home cos she missed her mum already. my first aunt had a hard time calming pat jie jie down. then she sms joanne jiejie(my 14 year old cousin). her sms said that she missed her papa and she wanted her mummy. then joanne jie jie told pat jie jie to take a rest..... haiz. really heart-breaking.
that goddamn cousin, brendan who is around 5 year old insisted on coming to my house when i strongly objected it. he was really noisy and irritating and i was about to say f*** off when i was really angry. argh i dont wish to remind myself of my bro and brendan. they are simply monsters. i hate them.
